The Elmer Tradition

Stroke and Turn Clinics are as follows

Saturday - June 12th - 7:30am @ Hammonton
Wednesday - June 16th - 6:30pm @ Ramblewood
Saturday - June 19th - 7:30am @ Larchmont (Before LA vs. BCC meet)

Swim Team Update from Coach M.

Swim Team Practice - June 1st, M-TH practice runs 7-8pm.

                                   On June 28th practice will begin 13 and over 9-10:30am

                                   12 and under 10:30-12.

Starting the weeks of June 28th and July 5th (because of swim lessons) practice will run 8-9am older group and 9-10 for the younger group.

Swimsuits are

Girls - $52 Sizes 24-38
Boys -$37 Sizes 24-38

WE STILL NEED LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS. TO SIGN UP AND HELP WITH THE MEETS.

SOME CHANGES

-There will be a pancake breakfast. It will be on July 9th

-Pictures will also be taken that morning.

The Elmer Swim Team is an Elmer Swim Club tradition that has been around for several years. We are pleased to have Coach Shavaughn Mulherin, Assistant Coach Steve Tucker and Assistant Coach Nori Jacques back to encourage and teach our kids again this summer.

• The Swim Team participates in the Surburban Swim League.
  
• Swim Team Schedule for 2010
  
• Practice Times during the summer are as follows:
  
  • Evening Practice
    • 7pm - 8pm, Monday - Thursday beginning Tuesday, June 1st
    • Water temperature must be 70 or above
      
• Morning Practice - beginning Tuesday, June 28th
  • 9:00 to 10:30 swimming - Olympian ... swimming 4500 Meters or More
  • 10:30 to 11:00 Dryland - (M, W, Th) Olympian
  • 10:30 to 12:00 swimming - Developmental (all kids) for stroke mechanics, starts and turns
• All kids are encouraged to participate in the Swimming Lessons also offered at the pool.
  
• Children between the age of 4 and 18 who are members of the pool can be on the Swimming Team. You do not have to be good to participate. We will give lessons and teach you all you need to know to compete. Participation on the team is FUN!!
  
• Team Dues (collected at the pool):
  • First member - $25
  • All other familiy members - $15
