The Elmer Swim Club is governed by a board of trustees comprised of nine bond holding members who have chosen to volunteer to help the club by serving on the board. The members are elected by the board from those who volunteer. Once elected, the members serve on different committees such as buildings, grounds, programs, membership and others.
